1. Set aside 20 of the 54 cards into a pile of cards called "The Mystery Stack"
2. Dealer deals 4 cards to each player
3. Dealer sets the rest of the cards down into "The Stack" and then peels the top card off to a "Discard Pile"
4. Dealer chooses someone, not themselves to go first, gameplay will then go clockwise
5. PLAYERS CAN A. put all 4 cards into The Mystery Stack and take 4 more (only can do this once) B. take a card from The Stack and discard one C. take a card from the Discard Pile and discard one D. trade another player a card for a card

Crash Moonbender (2 of Hearts)Wild, silly and fun, Crash Moonbender has a knack for anything that can get his adrenaline going. One of the only Knights to have to go from Vallians back to Aster Page, Crash handled it with humility, committing to work on his ego. It's not easy when you are a star-surfing champion to stay on the Bright Knights path, but the Knights are stronger for Crash sticking with it. | Lone King (King of Diamonds)The Lone King. Gentle Giant. Quiet leader of the Leaf Clan. After promising on behalf of all of Kynnderage (The Unknown Dimension) that no one would drink Miss Vividus's honey, he himself - purportedly under a hypnosis from Raven to Strawberry Queen to himself - drank the honey. This caused Miss Vividus's anger to split her dimension apart. The Bright Knights High Circle took him in and provided healing and he has since returned helping defeat the RabCroach twice. | The ShadowRats (6 of Spades)Shadow Pirates some call them. Some just call them the Shadow 'Rats or ShadowRats. Pesky nuisances at the ready to do Raven's bidding. Tireless workers for The Shadow. Look out! You never know when they will show up. | Jane Torber (9 of Clubs)Jane took over the planet Lunadora from her beloved father Torber after a lengthy battle with Exile. Torber's mansion had burned down and Exile finagled his way to the Adora River to acquire The Ball of Light. Torber, seeing that his time had come, had then handed over the reigns to his dutiful and bright daughter who rules Lunadora thoughtfully, kindly and with strength, to this day. |
